I have been working with people for over thirty years to help them move beyond past wounds so they are able to be in relationships with others while maintaining a sense of autonomy and to address obstacles preventing them from reaching their goals.  I enjoy work with couples, adults and older teens and am extremely skilled in therapy with people who have survived sexual abuse. I will work with you to overcome old ways of reacting to triggers in your life toward developing new ways of responding. I have had specialized training in the treatment of trauma including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in addition to Internal Family Systems. My work has incorporated Jungian, object relations and systems theories in addition to east-west philosophy having attended the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. I bring extensive experience with all ages and varied cultures and am an accomplished therapist who offers a safe atmosphere within which to begin to trust, unfold and begin to try new ways of being.
